How to Remove the Alternator for Honda Accord 2007-2008 3.5L Engines

 

This instruction will show you guide on how to remove the alternator for Honda Accord 2007-2008 3.5L engines.

Honda HDS 3.104.002+I-HDS+ECU Rewrite+Immobilizer Tool

Disconnect the battery cables.

Remove the engine splash shield.

Disconnect the A/C condenser fan motor connector and remove the harness clamp.

Loosen the A/C condenser fan shroud mounting bolts.

Remove the A/C condenser fan shroud assembly and the coolant reservoir.

Remove the accessory drive belt.

Disconnect the alternator connector and the positive alternator cable from the alternator.

Remove the harness clamp from the alternator and disconnect the A/C compressor clutch connector from the A/C compressor.

Remove the bolt securing the harness holder.10. Remove the mounting bolt, the alternator bracket mounting bolt, and the alternator

install the alternator. Tighten the mounting bolt to 33 ft. lbs. (44 Nm). Tighten the bracket mounting bolt to 16 ft. lbs. (22 Nm).2. The remainder of the installation is the reverse order of removal.
